At In Home Joy, we know how challenging it can be to spend quality time with loved ones due to the busy lives of family members. That's why we offer companionship and opportunities to engage with our dedicated caregivers and help build fellowship and improve the quality of life for seniors.
All caregivers make sure that your loved one is in a clean and healthy home. This includes washing, drying, ironing and storing laundry. Other housekeeping services involve light housekeeping where we clean the kitchen (counters, tables, appliances and trash disposal), bathrooms (sink, bathtub and toilet), bedroom (drawers, making the bed, straightening up), and any difficult to reach areas. All rooms will be swept, mopped and dusted as needed.
We also understand how difficult and time-consuming cooking can be for seniors. In Home Joy supports the recommendations of physicians for high-quality nutritional needs, and will prepare full meals, snacks and beverages. If the client only needs assistance in the kitchen we will help make their experience easy and enjoyable. Before and after every meal our caregiver takes care of the clean-up.
Client Errands
Routine trips are often taken for granted. At In Home Joy we take pride in servicing the elderly when they are unable to run errands themselves, whether it's due to injury or incapacity. If the client only prefers not to leave their home, we will run errands to the grocery store, pick up medications, make trips to the bank, or any other common errands.

Transportation Services
On occasion, seniors need assistance getting to doctor's appointments, social events or other functions. As part of our companion services we can get your loved one from point A to point B in a timely and safe manner.
This includes hospital stays, meeting with family, attending church and other less frequent trips. We will transport all clients either in their own vehicle (conditions apply) or our own vehicle. At the end of the trip we will settle the client back into their home safely and follow up with any additional needs.
Medication Schedules
What can be a routine event for most of us can be a challenge to maintain for the elderly. Caregivers will remind clients to take any oral medications, open medications, measure proper doses, monitor clients for potential side effects and schedule out the next medication dosage for the day.
